Type and Shadows in Revelation - Brazen Laver

 

Summary

There is also a subtle phenomenon where many do not understand the Old Testament types and shadows recalled in the Book of revelation.

The New Heaven and Earth is the New temple again on Earth where God dwells and tabernacles with us.

New Jerusalem is a cube because the Holy of Holies was a cube.

Right outside, In the inner court of the temple, there was a Bronze Laver, for the priests to wash their hands.

Here is the Shadow:=> The Sea of Brass or Bronze Laver was Made of brass and glass from ladies' mirrors (Ex. 38:8)

Here is the Fulfillment: The Word of God is a mirror, Washing to Cleanse from all uncleanness. It is a sea of glass mingled with fire (Rev 4:6; Rev 15:1-2), located outside the Holy of Holies, or outside the New jerusalem, but in the presence of the Lamb and his Holy angels (Rev. 14:11)

The Lake of Fire is to purify before entering any further.

Temple:

The first Temple was the Garden of Eden, the first interface between Heaven, Earth; God and man.

In the temple, specifically the Holy of Holies you have:

1. Extreme proximity to God's presence
   
2. Heaven interface with Earth; God meeting with man
   
3. A tree of Life; (Aaron's rod) - in the Ark.
   
4. Fruit for Healing of Nations; Manna - In the Ark.
   
5. God's Throne and mercy seat; Ark
   
6. Water flowing from the Throne; Garden; City; to all other jurisdictions.
   

All of these were also found in Eden and subsequently in New Jerusalem.

The original Garden, the Holy of Holies on Earth, where God's presence walked fulfill the Temple.

New Jerusalem is just a City version of the above or a City Garden.

The New Heaven and Earth is the New Temple again on Earth where God dwells and tabernacles with us.

New Jerusalem is a cube because the Holy of Holies was a cube.

Of course New Jerusalem is us.

Molten Sea

Right outside, In the inner court of the temple, there was a Bronze Laver, for the priests to wash their hands.

Here is the Shadow:=> The Sea of Brass/ Molten Laver or Bronze Laver was Made of brass and glass from melting mirrors. (Ex. 38:8) In Solomon's time it was placed on the backs of twelve oxen.

Here is the Fulfillment => The Word of God is a mirror, and is used to Wash, and to Cleanse from all uncleanness. On the earth it is a Bronze Laver.  In the heaven, the real one is a sea of glass mingled with fire (Rev 4:6; Rev 15:1-2), located outside the Holy of Holies, or outside the New Jerusalem, but in the presence of the Lamb and his Holy angels (Rev. 14:11). The word of God is also a fire. God is a consuming fire.

The Brazen Laver/ Lake of Fire is there to destroy all things that causes death, decay, defilement and to purify men before entering any further.

In the Old Testament, the shadow for the Lake of Fire was the Brazen Laver or literally the Lake of Molten Fire, or the Sea of Glass with Fire, outside the Holy of Holies, but in the Holy Place.

The Lake of Fire is the brazen laver outside the real existing heavenly temple, of which Moses patterned his tabernacle.. It's the sea of molten brass which was patterned by Moses to melt women's mirrors to form a laver to wash and purify those before being allowed to enter...

Everything in Revelation is detailing what is happening in the heavenly temple with the lampstand, altar, brazen laver (lake of fire) etc. and how it impacted the earth, as Christ was revealed (hence the book is called "the Revelation of Jesus Christ").

These heavenly elements did not end in AD 70, because of fulfillment. They were revealed and continually find their fulfillment in us.

There exists a heavenly reality right now, in the invisible realm, and earthed in us.

We get a better understanding how we are the image of God, as Christ revealed is the image of God.

No longer is Moses tabernacle or Solomon's temple the image of the Heavenly Tabernacle.

We are. We are the new residence of God.

To orthodox Jews, the lake of fire was actually the Dead Sea, as legend had it, this was the place where Sodom and Gomorrah stood, before they were subjected to God's eternal fire. The Dead sea was outside the city.  Once again, the Brazen laver, was outside the Holy Place, just as the Dead Sea was outside the city, just as the Lake of Fire was also outside the New Jerusalem.

How so?

In Revelation, those who were cast into the Lake of Fire were found on the NEW Earth but outside the city.

It is safe to conclude that the Lake of Fire, whatever it is, is found outside the New City (the Holy of Holies) on the New Earth, where the wicked dwell in outer darkness. Incidentally, Outer Darkness means outside the illumination of the city lights.

This is why the tree of life is for the healing of the nations who are outside the city, but cast into the molten sea.

One more interesting note.

Rev 20:13-15 says"13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

So 

• Sea gave up its dead
• First Death gave up its dead
• Hades gave up its dead [Wait.  So Hades did not have all the dead??] 
• The there is no more Sea, and First Date and Hades were cast into the Laek

It seems that the Molten Sea, the Fake of Fire replaces the Sea, first Death and Hades...after all three give up it's dead

Which is why the Lake of fire was not Destruction of Jerusalem. Gehenna was AD 70.

Lake of Fire is not Gehenna or Hades. It replaces the sea, first Death and Hades and consume it's dead.

Oxen under the Molten Sea

The ox, is the standard for Ephraim, and is one of the faces of the four living creatures/ cherubim always in front of the throne.  The 12 Oxen represents all the lost nations (see further below)

The 12 oxen under the Molten Sea, are all the nations who were lost, but now are being wash in His word and purified in refiners fire.
