Biblical Predestination Part 6 - What About the Restoration of Israel?
Well what About the Restoration of Israel
God this time will plant Israel and all the birds of the air will nest in her.
New BUT OLD Rule
There is a new rule (and really it is an ancient rule) to determine who Israel is.
This is the [New] Rule:New Rule: Israel of God is in Christ where neither circumcision nor circumcision avails anything... A new Creation, a New City, New Nation, New Temple new people, New context, New community, with Complete fulfillment is what avails to anything.... not the old, the decayed, old city, old promised land, old nation construct, old temple, old mindsets, old creation.
If you love the old, stay with it, and stay with its death. It is dead and decayed. If you love the new, then truly declare that a NEW CREATION is what counts... not an old land with dust, or a people defined by human lineage.
This is what Paul concluded. You would do well to side with Paul.
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God." Gal 6:15-16
Does the old creation still exists? In a sense if you recognize it. There is an actual land in Palestine. But it has no power, significance, it does not avail to anything.
Only the New Creation is worth our attention. That is where significance lies.
You can define Israel according to the old, but it does not avail to anything. Only the New has merit.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
This is not replacement theology. IT is according TO FAITH of All those who are in Christ, consisting of people of FAITH from Old including Jews, Gentiles, Old Testament saints, New Testament converts, believers today, circumcised, uncircumcised, who believed. They are in Christ and are Israel.
It's Christ fulfilled theology not replacement theology.
It's Christ only. The beginning and the end.
