Biblical Predestination Part 3 - Did Christ Die Only for the Elect

Calvinist say that Christ only died for the Elect. Some people say Christ only Died for Jews.

Complete foolishness with a chaser of hogwash.

"For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all".... 2 Cor 5:14-15

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone" [Heb 2:9]

Hebrews proved that He was the kinsman redeemer on two levels, that is He is the near kinsman to all Jews and all of Mankind.:

  1. All Jews: - "For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren," [Heb 2:11]

  2. All flesh and Blood, and the children given to Him
"Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.”Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil" [Heb 2:13b, 14]

If people really understood the Laws of Redemption in Lev. 25 (with strangers included) and the argument that Heb 2 was making that He was the kinsman on BOTH LEVELS - Jews and all flesh and blood, they would have never made such a foolish statement.

Christ died for all, and all men died in Him, not just an elect. 2 Cor 5:14

There is no single elect whom God is only wooing.

Israel was the first one elected to be the agency by which salvation was to come to the entire world.

Christ as the Branch became the elected one out of Israel.

This was the predestined way for salvation to come to the earth as God chose before the foundation of the earth that it had to be chosen in Christ as Ephesians said. This is the true predestination - in Christ.

Christ responded by saying yes, He would do His will and prepared for Himself a body.

All men died in Him but all men do not yet live in Him.

But time is being managed so that at the fullness of the dispensation of time, all things in heaven and earth are being gathered in Him, so that Christ becomes the sum of everything in earth and in heaven.

Man can resist for a time, but Christ who was all in the beginning, will be all in the End.

For out of Him, through Him and back to Him are all things. Rom 11:34

God wins. And on earth, peace goodwill to all men.
