Second Death? Annihilation or Continual Existance

"Regarding the second death, is it possible that those who reject God to either exist outside of His presence, or will they simply cease to exist? "

<Yep His Presence was in Sheol also>

There are only two viable options
1. Cease to exist (annihilation) <--- This is what Darren is arguing for (I can read between the lines as I am in Sales :-) )

2. They are found in outer darkness, outside the gates of the New Jerusalem (Outer darkness meant outside the influence of the lights of the city, like in the forest)

"But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” [Matt 8:!2]

Jesus told the unbelieving Jews they would be cast into outer darkness. They certainly were literally (bodies thrown into Gehenna [Hell] outside the city in AD 70) and their souls ruined/ lost/ perish/ appollumi. They perished.

Jesus even told them "Let the dead bury the dead" was a Hebrew idiom that indicated, they are all dead. 1.5 million Jews died in AD 70 destruction of Jerusalem. It is like us saying in Trini "is Ded dey Ded".

Christ told them leave the funeral, or burying your family. It won't matter anyway. They are all dead soon.

------

But I hold to no. 2 as Rev 22 indicates as we see hints of that even in Rev 22, which suppose to be the end, but we see the wicked on the New Earth, outside open gates, with a tree of life for healing of nations.

Now why would God allow the wicked, the dogs to be on the New earth (whatever your interpretation of New Earth is)... that is risky. He is risking everything going to hell again

HE SHOULD HAVE ANNIHILATED THEM... Not Out Them on the Earth.

And neither the Bride, nor the Spirit, nor Christ need to eat to be healed.

Finally, back to the Spirit. You cannot confess Jesus is Lord to His Glory except by the Spirit.

The way to test if it is the Spirit of God is known:
"Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit." [1 Cor 12:3]

"By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God" [1 John 4:2-3]

Yet we see the declaration that every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord... you cannot do that to God's Glory except by the Spirit. And that word for confess is swear on your right hand, and swear like God swore on the throne. What did God swear?

That the earth will be turned to Him and Be saved, even though some will be put to shame. He defined salvation as "every tongue swearing like He swore and every knee worshiping"... That is how God defined salvation...

"Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
23
I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath." [Isa 45:22-23]

"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." [Phil 2:9-11]
