Are you Still a Sinner
"And
you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there
is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has
neither seen Him nor known Him.
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God."
1 John 3:5-9
------------
We consider ourselves dead to sin because we died in Christ. That death, death to sin is more powerful than being dead in sin.
Christ died for our offenses but was raised for our justification. If he did not secure our justification and made it possible that His Righteous (the powerful antidote for sin) was now ours, He would still be in the grave or His raising would be in vain.
This is the death you want to identify with: you died when Christ died. We stop identifying with being dead in sin. This is what it means to believe that Christ died and rose to be saved. If means that His death is your death, His Life is your Life.
Once we understand that, and identify with his death and righteousness, we stop identifying as Sinners. We cannot be both the righteousness of God and identify as Sinners at the same time. You cannot be both light and darkness at the same time. You cannot be both lost and found at the same time.
Is there sin in your flesh? Yes, that is why we still physically die as per
Romans 8:10
And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Our body is dead because of sin. Our Spirit is life because of righteousness.
There comes a time when you stop identifying yourself with your body as a Sinner and begin to identify yourself as His Righteousness and life from that identity in spite of sin in your body.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Answer: This is the entire quote
1Ti 1:12 — 1Ti 1:17
Glory to God for His Grace
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Note... Formerly a blasphemer...
He was the chief sinner after the flesh. He is focusing on the positive that Christ came to save Sinners of whom he was or at that is the chief.
But now He focused on the mercy he obtained.
If Christ can save Him he can save anyone. Only those who are lawless, not govern by the Spirit, not appropriating the death and life of Christ into their lives are Sinners.. Why call him Lord Lord if you remain lawless and He never knew you.
-------------------
There is a misconception from 1 John 1:7-10, which people says proves that we always sin, or are always sinners.....
well it does not exactly say that. It says
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
I don't know if you guys caught that.
The whole point was, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. That is the conclusion. It actually cleanses us from a real substance called sin.
We make Him a liar when we say that Sin is NOT REAL, it is a fragment of our imagination, that sin never existed in the world, that men do not sin, because this means that Christ came all this way to cleanse us from nothing.
That was John's point. If we say sin is not a real problem for man, for Christ to cleanse us from, then we make Him a liar, when He said sin is a real problem and He came to cleanse man from it.
But Sin DID exist, and Christ came to cleanse us from it. He did it. So let Christ do what He came to do and once He cleanses you from all sin, Then it does not exist. You become the righteousness of God, not a sinner of a man.
Then you can say you walk in the light. Then you can say you are not a sinner and you do not sin.
He cleanses us ONCE. Once He cleanses, He cleanses us from all sin. Now see yourself as dead to sin and alive to God. Stop seeing yourself as a sinner.
-----------------------
In our body of flesh there is still sin. We put to death the deeds of our body. We are not looking for our body to be cleanse. We are looking for our body to be dead and put to death. It will finally be put to rest. We will get a new body.
But as John said, since Christ died for sin once, we need to consider that also as our reality. We practice righteousness now. He who sins is of the devil. Whoever has been born of God, our spirit man, the real us, our inward man, does not sin.
Our soul is being sanctified.
Perhaps that is something we can all agree on.
